What is 99tux?
99tux sells affordable, high-quality tuxedos, formal wear, dress clothes, hospitality uniforms and accessories for both men and women. Why deal with the burden of having to rent an expensive tux that has to be returned, when you can buy one for $99 that you can keep? Easy care, machine washable formal wear that does not need to be dry cleaned is more convenient for everybody. 99tux is here to serve all of your wedding, prom and hospitality uniform needs.
Where is your store?

Why are your commercials so funny and different?
We take serving our customers very seriously, but we're people that like to joke and have a good time too. We think tuxedos are great outfits, but many people don't even consider them because they think it's too boring and formal. We'll always strive to make our brand fun. Plus, we have a CEO who is really creative.
What payment options do I have?

When is my credit card or other payment method (Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay) charged?
Your credit card will be charged when you successfully place your order. We utilize industry-leading fraud prevention and detection automation to ensure that all orders are carefully screened prior to being charged. If an order fails these checks, your credit card will not be charged and your order will not be processed without further information. If you are unable to place an order, please contact us.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Our platform will automatically determine if you need to pay a sales tax based on your shipping destination. It will be clearly displayed before you submit your order, so you will have an opportunity to review the legally required sales tax, if any.
Can I pay with any cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin?
Unfortunately, we currently do not accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, or other cryptocurrencies. However, we are monitoring Bitcoin's and other cryptocurrencies' statuses and news to see if we can enable those payment options in the near future. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Free Shipping and Order Status
How do I get free shipping on my order?
We offer free shipping on all U.S. orders over $199. All you have to do is make sure that the items in your cart add up to over $199 (after discounts take effect) and the free shipping option will be available at checkout.
I just ordered something. When will I get a tracking number?
Thank you for your purchase. We love you! We process orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as they come in. Most orders are fully processed within 12 hours and typically ship the next business day (excluding all U.S. Federal Holidays). Please note that for custom orders, very large orders, or orders that require additional verification, it may take several business days to process. Once your order is processed and ships, you will receive an email and/or phone (sms) notification with the tracking number. You can also login into your account and view all of your orders, their statuses, and tracking information there.
How do I check my order status?
You can check your order status by logging into your account and reviewing your orders in the "Order History" tab. By clicking into a specific order, you will be able to see its detailed status, tracking information, and payment details.
How far in advance should I place my order?
We recommend placing your order at least 7 business days before you need it if you are within the United States. If you are shipping to a different country, we recommend ordering at least 10 business days before you need the items. We process orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as they come in. Most orders are fully processed within 12 hours and typically ship the next business day (excluding all U.S. Federal Holidays). Please note that for custom orders, very large orders, or orders that require additional verification, it may take several business days to process. Please note that the stated shipment times do not take into account processing the order first. Once your order is processed and ships, you will receive an email and/or phone (sms) notification with the tracking number. You can also login into your account and view all of your orders, their statuses, and tracking information there.
How do I track my order?

How do I check the status of my order if I checked out as a Guest?
If you checked out as a guest (you didn't create an account), you still will receive an order confirmation by email. You will also receive one when your order ships! Check your email inbox for our emails - they will have a link to your order status page (even if you don't have an account).
How do I view my Account History and previous purchases?
You can view and update your account addresses, order history, and individual order statuses by logging into your account.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Yes, we can ship to P.O. boxes in the United States via the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Do you ship to APO and FPO addresses?
Yes, we can ship to APO and FPO addresses via the United States Postal Service (USPS).
What are my shipping options and charges?
Please proceed to the checkout page and enter in your shipping address for the pricing. It's sorted by lowest price first, so choosing the first shipping option is your best bet for the most savings.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship worldwide, using USPS, UPS, and DHL. If these shipping carriers deliver to your country, then we can deliver your tuxedo to you!
Returns and Exchanges
What is your return & exchange policy?
We always want you to get the best possible outfit and that's why we offer our return and exchange policy. You may exchange or return your purchased items within 7 days of the delivery date. Most regularly priced items that 99tux carries are eligible for an exchange of a different size or color of equal or lesser value. Unlike some other sites, we don't even charge an extra restocking fee! To be eligible for an exchange or return, your item(s) must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and all original labels and tags attached and intact. It must also be in the original packaging. If 7 days have gone by since your delivery date, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
Due to the large discount provided, items that have had a bundle discount applied may only be returned for store credit, and only if they they meet all of our other criteria including not being customized in any way.
Any full or partial refunds given are subject to our examination of the item's condition and status and are at 99tux's sole discretion.
The customer will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for exchanging or returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item back to us, we strongly recommend that use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance and package tracking to be able to track your package. We cannot be responsible for items lost by a shipping carrier.
An item that was shipped using the free shipping option may be returned as long as it is otherwise eligible for return based on the other criteria listed. However, a pro-rated portion of the shipping costs incurred by 99tux will be deducted from any refund or store credit provided.
If any refund is due by 99tux to a customer for a return or exchange, it can only be provided via the original payment method or store credit (such as through a custom coupon code) and we reserve the right to choose the refund method depending on the circumstances. The vast majority of the time, we will work to refund your original payment method as the first option. If a custom coupon code or store credit is provided for any reason, it is only valid for a limited period of time which will be fully disclosed to you at time of refund/exchange.

Do you provide any package deals or discounts?
Yes! We offer many special deals on our Bundles page. Bundles are groupings of our most popular items at significant savings. Use the special Bundle discount codes specified on each Bundle page to get the savings during checkout!
I'd like to order many items for a wedding or a restaurant's use. Can I get a better deal?
Bulk orders, especially for repeat customers, may qualify for additional savings. Please contact our support team and let us know your product needs and we'll do our best.
Do you have any additional coupons or savings?
You will periodically find extra coupon codes on different coupon sites throughout the web or on our clothing coupons page. But your best bet is to sign up for our newsletter (at the bottom of any page) and follow our social media channels so you're always aware of the specials and sales we have going on.
How can I save even more money?
We offer free U.S. shipping on all orders over $199 dollars. If you have less than $199 worth of items in your cart after discounts are taken into account, adding one or two extra items to your shopping cart can push you past the minimum requirement and get you free shipping, which saves you even more.
Care, Fashion, Fit, Product, and Style
Where are the care instructions for my tuxedos?
Nobody wants to see waiters with spaghetti sauce stains on their shirt. Because of our background in the hospitality industry, we made sure that all of our products are machine washable. Part of the reason nobody likes to wear a tuxedo is that having it dry-cleaned after an event is a big headache. You will never have this problem again with our durable products that are built to last. You simply wash and wear.
What type of tuxedo should I wear?
Sometimes an invitation to a black tie or formal event will include a description of what you need to wear. If you're unsure, one of our great bundles gives you all of the items you need for the perfect look.
How can I get fitted?
A good fit is important for any outfit. Please check out our measuring guide videos for some tips and tricks on how to measure yourself for a tuxedo. If you're still not sure, please contact our customer support team and we'll be glad to walk you through the measuring process.
Which sizes do you carry?
Depending on the product, we carry a range of sizes from XS to 6XL. All of our products are True to Size, meaning they rely on industry standard measurement practices and don't run too big or too small. Some of our products and accessories are one-size fits all, such as our bowties or cummerbands. Please see the product page or ask us if you're unsure.
Can I wear cufflinks and button studs with your shirts?
As long as there are holes for these items to fit in, you can make it work without any custom modifications. For our accessories, please see the individual product page for use recommendations.
Is it normal to wear a tuxedo or suit in the summer?
A tuxedo is a fine choice for a formal event regardless of the season. Even for a beach wedding, a beautiful black tux will look amazing.
Do you have sizes for children and ring bearers?
We carry some of our most popular items in boy's sizes as well. You can buy a boy's tuxedo too.
Do you carry half sizes?
In most cases, unless otherwise indicated, we do not carry specialty half-size increments. Note that our hemming options for pants are available in precise half-inch increments.
Do you carry women's sizes?
A size or color I want is out of stock, what should I do?
If an item is out of stock in our system, in the product page a form should popup that lets you submit your email address to receive a notification when it comes back in stock. Please contact us if you have any questions and we'll do our best to help.
Do I have to wear a cummerbund with a tuxedo?
Of course not! A cummerbund isn't required to look great. But since so few people ever wear them, you will look really well put together when you wear one.
Should my pocket square match my tie?
Clothing trends change over time, but the current best practice is that a pocket square should have some contrast with your bowtie or tie. A safe bet is to have a few different pocket squares in your closet so you have options and can choose different color combinations for different events.
Are some parts of the site not working?
We always recommend using ad blockers or other browser extensions and plugins that are designed to protect you and your personal data. However, some of these browser plugins may interfere with certain functionality on the site, like Live Chat (if you need instant live help) or parts of the Checkout process. If you find something that's not working on the site, please consider temporarily disabling your ad blocker or whitelisting 99tux.com as we're just interested in selling tuxedos, not your personal information.
